For our client, active in the automotive sector, we are looking for a freelance Business & Financial Controller.
Function
In your role as freelance Business & Financial Controller, you will be responsible for following up on financial matters within the finance team in Diest. You will work closely with your colleagues in financial administration and accounting.
- You are responsible for timely and detailed financial and operational reporting to the holding management (using reporting software and BI Tooling)
- You are jointly responsible for the financial reporting and financial policies of the company
- You analyze the differences between actuals and budget figures, deviations are reported and discussed
- Coordinate the annual budget process and provide forecasts
- You are responsible for optimal utilization of working capital (receivables, inventory and payables)
- You oversee operational and financial KPIs and make timely adjustments where necessary
- You will participate in the further optimization of our processes and our internal controls in function of the strong growth
- You look for synergies we can create with other branches within the cluster
- Development of dashboards
- You will report to the Finance Manager and liaise with the various branches.
Profile
As a freelance Business & Financial Controller, you can relate to the profile below:
- You have a higher business or finance degree, complemented by several years of relevant experience.
- You possess analytical skills
- Hands-on and communicatively strong
- You are very ICT-minded and advanced in Excel
- Experience with a larger ERP package is a definite plus
- You continuously strive for improvement and efficiency
This is a maternity replacement for +- 3 months where an overlap is provided with the pregnant colleague.
Start date is March 10, 2025.
It is a full-time position held in the office, this is a non-negotiable.
