For the market leader in fresh ready meals in the Benelux, we are looking for an experienced Freelance Group Quality Manager. With 5 production sites and a daily output of 200,000 meals, they supply retail giants such as Delhaize, AH, Carrefour and Lidl.
Your role
As Group Quality Manager, you are the pivotal figure between management, customers and the quality team. You coach a team of 18 QA professionals and ensure the flawless implementation of our quality policy across the various sites.
Your responsibilities
- Develop and monitor quality and food safety processes according to IFS/BRC standards.
- Lead and coach a QA team across 5 sites.
- Work with the board and plant managers to think along at a strategic level to solve food safety challenges.
- Coordinate audits and ensure certifications.
- Contribute to the digitization and optimization of quality processes.
Your profile
- In-depth knowledge of microbiology, quality standards and auditing processes.
- People manager with excellent communication and coaching skills.
- Analytical, problem-solving and not afraid to take responsibility.
